  Rob Alvino was the leader of the great Ohio Wesleyan teams of the mid 80’s. He was a three time All American. The Battling Bishops were NCAC Champions in 1987 and 88 and NCAA Runners-up in those years. Alvino was the NCAC “Player of the Year” in 1988. He also played in the North-South All Star game. He as an assistant coach with the Bishops in 1989-90 and was an assistant coach with the Duke Blue Devils in 1991-92. Rob also spent two years with the Detroit Turbos of the MLL. Rob and his wife Lisa currently live in Levitown, NY.

Dave Cerny has been a fixture in northeastern Ohio lacrosse for over thirty years. He was an All American player at SUNY Albany before becoming a graduate assistant coach at the University of Notre Dame. He became an assistant coach at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland in 1989 and lacrosse on the North Coast has benefited from his tireless work and dedication to the game ever since. He has been a Board member of the USA Lacrosse North Coast Chapter since 2010, serving as President from 2014-2016. During his time in Cleveland he started the Ohio City Lacrosse Camp and has conducted numerous camps and clinics. He helped secure a $250,000 grant from USA Lacrosse to build a field in the intercity through the Lacrosse Community Project in Cleveland. In 2020 he was the winner of the USA Lacrosse Homer Schwartz Award for his work in developing lacrosse in an urban area. In 2016 he was the OHSAA Region 1 “Man of the Year” and was inducted into the Ohio North Coast Chapter Hall of Fame in 2023.

In her eleven seasons as the Denison head coach Amanda Daniels has complied a most impressive record, 137-57. Daniels started her coaching career at Hamilton College as an assistant and the team was the 2008 Div III National Champions. She was a head coach at Morrisville State University and won the NEAC regular season and tournament championships in 2008. Since becoming Denison University’s head coach in 2014 he has won six NCAC regular season championships and eight tournament championships. She has guided her teams to nine straight NCAA Tournament appearances including the Final Four in 2021. Daniels was the NCAC “Coach of the Year” in 2014 and 2016. Daniels is a graduate of LeMoyne College where she was a four time All Conference 1st Team player in the MAAC. In addition to her coaching Daniels has conducted many camps and clinics to help grow the game in Ohio.

Tim James was a High School All American and led Thomas Worthington to a State Championship in 1989. He played in the National High School All Star game in 1989. James continued his outstanding play for four years at Ohio Wesleyan University. A two-time All American James led his teams to four straight NCAC Championships from 1990-93 and the Battling Bishops were NCAA Div III Runners up in 1993. Tim also played for the Columbus Lacrosse Club and has continued to give back to the game as a coach for the Worthington Youth Boosters. He served as President of the Worthington Kilbourne Men’s Lacrosse Assoc. He joins his brother Mike who was a 2016 HOF Inductee.

If it is about lacrosse in Southwestern Ohio Russell Mackey will be there. Russell’s involvement with lacrosse started as the Assistant  Coach of Mount Notre Dame high school in 2005. He began Head Coach in 2007 and  he complied a record of 194-62 and won eight GGCL Championships. He was the GGCL Coach of the Year eight times and was the Cincinnati Enquirer D1 Coach of the Year in 2017 and 2018. His contribution to lacrosse have been much broader than just coaching. He is currently President of the Southern Ohio Chapter of USA Lacrosse. Russell has been a board member of Cincy Royals Girls Lacrosse and was the co-founder of Cincy Lacrosse. He has served on the Southern Ohio All American Committee and is currently serves on the IWLCA Mentor/Mentee program. He has coach numerous All Star teams on both the local and National levels. He won the OHSAA Ohio Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity Award in 2018. He is currently in his fifth year as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Anderson (Ind) University.

Bob Scott started the boys’ lacrosse program at Dublin Scioto High School in 1995. During his eleven seasons he compiled a record of 149-47. Prior to starting the Scioto program he coached at Hastings Middle School. Scott led the Irish to a D2 State Championship in 1997 and a D1 Title in 1999 and 2003. His teams also were D1 Runners-up in 1998, 2000, and 2001. Bob was the OHSLA D2 Coach of the Year in 1997and D1Coach of the Year in 1999. He served as President of the Ohio Lacrosse Coaches Association from 2001-2003. He was the Dublin Scioto High School Principal from 2014-2022.

  The Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame has a long standing tradition of honoring Ohio's High School Boys and Girls All Americans at our annual Induction Banquet.  It has long been the motto of the HOF, "Where the past meets the present and the future".  All Americans are the guests of the HOF.

  The Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame Induction banquet will be held on August 10, 2024  at the Ohio Union on the Ohio State University campus.  The banquet is open to all lacrosse fans.  In addition to honoring our Class of 2024, the Ohio Lacrosse Hall of Fame will also continue its tradition of honoring Ohio's boys and girls  High School All Americans.
